Who knew the fall would bring such an influx of events? Check out what’s happening this month in Vancouver.

Chilliwack Sunflower Festival: This year, Chilliwack Sunflower Festival is gearing up to be bigger and better! Come out to see a new field with 48 varieties of dahlias, adding a whole new display of colour. As normal, their known fields of Giant Mammoth Sunflowers are in full bloom.
Date: August 1- September 15

Richmond Sunflower Festival: Welcome to Metro Vancouver’s newest sunflower fest! The accessible Richmond festival is complete with a train, blueberry picking, entertainment, and more, all included in your ticket.

Kitsilano Farmers Market: Located in the heart of Kitsilano, this weekly market is the perfect opportunity to find fresh fruits and vegetables, meat, eggs, dairy, sustainable seafood, craft beer, wine and spirits, handmade products, hot food, and more.

The Vancouver Fringe Festival: The Vancouver Fringe Festival is back! Join in for the annual celebration of theatre, with more than 700 performances by over 90 artists. Watch as artists stage their work in the nooks and crannies of beautiful Granville Island.

AT EASE: Sit. Breathe. Rest. Be at ease. “A monthly gathering holding space for women of color to be at ease & present in their minds, bodies, spirits and in the world using the healing modalities of meditation & mindful conversations. Each gathering will begin with a mindful conversation on a chosen topic and end with a meditation practice.”

Global Climate Strike Vancouver: “On September 27th, we will stand together with people across the planet to demand climate justice.
