Resistance Roundup: Volume 14

A monthly round up of Resistance Research, including quotes, news, analysis, inspiration, and action items. Let’s break this regime down into actionable items and take it down, bit by bit!

This Month’s Action:

This month gun violence is at the forefront of everything. If you are American, it’s time to do your part to make sure change really does happen:

Look up your nearest association that is fighting for gun control (possibilities include Giffords, Eveytown, and Sandy Hook Promise). Join them. Ask how you can help.

Contact politicians. If you saw the John Oliver video about the NRA, you know that your representatives hear from NRA supporters in overwhelming numbers. Make it a habit – set reminders on your phone for daily, weekly, or monthly calls and then just do it. Call. Repeat.

For the rest of us, we can spread support on social media and keep working on decolonizing our lands. Read Whose Land is it Anyway? A Manual to Decolonization. It’s a book, and it’s available for free as a PDF or ePUB file.
