March begins with a Full Moon in Virgo, bringing balance to the five planets chillin in Pisces. Virgo offers precision and discernment to what may otherwise be a rather dreamy, even foggy period of time. What is revealed to you? Harness Pisces’ compassion and forgiving nature to avoid becoming overly critical or judgmental when you glimpse the details through Virgo’s perfectionist gaze.

The Pisces theme continues, culminating with a New Moon in Pisces on the 17th. This gives us a couple weeks to bask in Piscean waters, to dream, rest, read and write poetry, listen to and make music.

In the second half of March, the energy shifts to fiery Aries, Mars shifts from expansive Sagittarius to get-to-work Capricorn, and Mercury stations retrograde. So the second half of March will feel significantly different from the first half. Time to file taxes, tackle the to-do list, and perhaps observe your reactions to things not working out exactly as planned. Consider early March as practice in going with the flow, and perhaps we can keep that mindset when the flow gets a little bumpy at the very end of the month.

Aries

The fruits of your labour ripen early in the month with a Full Moon and grand trine activating your career and money houses. What do you come to understand about the way you work, how you serve, your daily routine, your health and diet? With five planets in your twelfth house, March sees a serious uprooting of your unconscious. Often, parts of ourselves get relegated to the unconscious because we are ashamed or afraid of them. But you are now ready to integrate more of who you really are into your conscious understanding of yourself. The work you have to do now is to release the shame and fear that have been instilled by a culture that seeks to have us be less than who we are. By mid-month, the energy shifts predominantly into your sign, so prepare for an influx of energy and attention.

Taurus

The Full Moon at the beginning of the month in your fifth house delivers a healthy dose of play, pleasure, romance, and creativity. Are you sharing or completing a creative project? Or perhaps you’re coming to a deeper understand of the role that pleasure and creativity play in your life. There is also a potent opportunity for sexual healing at this time–be it healing wounds around sexuality or healing through sexuality itself. With five planets in your eleventh house, the first half of March brings much energy to your social life and dreams for the future. Get out there and make new connections, have fun, and dream big. By mid-month, the focus shifts to your unconscious mind, and the planets are really stirring things up there, all with the intention of helping you see yourself more clearly.

Gemini

The Virgo Full Moon at the beginning of March lights up your house of home and family, bringing some story to completion or culmination (perhaps you move, finish a home project, or visit with family), and bringing more awareness to your unconscious mind. Pay attention to those quiet thoughts that so easily slip by, and you may catch a glimpse of how the dynamics within your family have shaped your psychology. Feel into your roots in order to heal and grow taller. With five planets in your tenth house, this month supports you in growing into your career and/or your passion, helping you to release self-doubt and do more of what you love. What do you wish to accomplish? How do you wish to contribute? Set your intentions following the New Moon on the 17th.

Cancer

With the Full Moon in your third house in early March, you may catch a glimpse of the inner workings of your mind. There is an opportunity to see how your worldview–your background assumptions and vision of the world–shapes your everyday thought processes, and how these in turn shape your experience. The funny thing about the mind–even if it’s always on the go, and right there within us, so often we don’t even notice it. Yet, awareness works magic–just through becoming aware of what had been unconscious, patterns begin to alter, change becomes possible. So pay attention to your thoughts. And then use all the Pisces energy to imagine and instill a worldview that nourishes you, rather than accepting the world you’ve inherited through family and culture. The second half of the month, the energy shifts to your house of career. Time to get to work!

Leo

The Full Moon at the beginning of March may reveal to you something about the ways in which you do or do not value yourself and your resources. This is an opportunity to foster a greater sense of self-worth and invite greater abundance. With five planets in your eighth house, the key word for you this month is Intimacy, whether in the form of sexuality, financial arrangements, energetic exchanges, or diving deep into your own soul. You’re learning how to be true to your own boundaries, which allows you to safely get close to others. How are you sharing your space, resources, sexuality, money, energy with others? Harness the Piscean vibes to dream big and create the sorts of intimate bonds you most desire. By mid-month, the focus shifts to philosophy, worldview, travel and education.

Virgo

Early March’s Full Moon in your sign offers you a burst of energy and puts you in the spotlight. This signals a major completion or culmination, the beginning and ending of a chapter. Something about yourself is being revealed, or perhaps you are completing a project or sharing something publicly. Are you sharing yourself with others in a deeper more authentic way? The world needs you, Virgo. Don’t ever think you are insignificant. With five planets in your relationship house this month, you have much time and love for your people, and opportunities for fated encounters abound. Harness Pisces’ gift for dreaming to imagine into being the relationships you desire. By mid-month, the energy shifts to your house of intimacy and personal transformation.

Libra

In early March, a grand Earth trine unites the parts of your chart relating to the mind. The March 1st Full Moon in your twelfth house, makes the unconscious conscious. You are making progress when it comes to understanding yourself more deeply. You have courageously ventured into the depths to face what has been lurking in the shadows, and you now reap rewards of your efforts. Even with this activation of the depths of your mind, there is much focus this month on your day-to-day life, routine, health, diet, and you are likely to find yourself busy. The question is how can you bring what you’ve learned about yourself and your soul into harmony with everyday life? The second half of March sees a focus on relationships.

Scorpio

Your social life is coalescing. You’ve spent time with your friends and loved ones and have worked hard to create community. This month, you’re feeling the rewards of your efforts, with a grand earth trine uniting your social houses. The Full Moon on March 1st lights up your house of social networks, friendship, and organizations, bringing fruition and culmination, but also revealing something: what do you glimpse now under the light of the full moon? What do you understand now about your friendships and networks and how they relate your personal and subjective way of being? The true potency this month lies in your creativity, with five planets in your fifth house. Take the time to be creative and to play and have fun. The New Moon on the 17th offers a new beginning when it comes to a creative project, sport, or more generally, in your authenticity. Then the energy shifts to work and health.

Sagittarius

With a grand Earth trine activating your money and work houses, and Saturn in your house of money and resources, it’s clear you’ve been working to get your finances in order even if you have complex feelings around money. Your consciousness is expansive enough to contain paradox. Attending to your resources sends a clear message to the universe that you respect money as a symbol of energy, and the universe will respond by sending more your way. Your new found organization around finances feeds into your career success. With a Full Moon in your career house, you receive recognition, the fruits of your labour ripen, and you are offered a glimpse of something new. WIth five planets in your fourth house, the relation between your career and your home life is clarified. And if you don’t feel like leaving home, don’t–as much as possible anyway. Take the time now to retreat, rest, and dream. The energy then shifts toward creativity and play.

Capricorn

The predominant focus this month is in your mind, with a lineup of planets in your third house, and a full moon in your ninth house. Perhaps you are paying more attention to how your assumptions and beliefs affect your experience. Perhaps you are seeing more clearly your patterns of thought. The first half of March is a wonderful time for writing or reading poetry, making or listening to music, enjoying fantasy and the imagination. You are likely to be more creative than ever now, especially when it comes to communicating creatively. By mid-month the focus shifts to your home and family, and the aspects of your psychology that were shaped by your family dynamics.

Aquarius

With five planets in your house of income, resources, and self-worth, this is an area of significant focus for you. Your best tactic is to harness Pisces’ knack for dreaming and going with the flow to manifest abundance through the path of least resistance. Release the thoughts that tell you you are not enough, know that you are infinitely worthy. Early March’s Full Moon shines a light in your eighth house, revealing secrets around intimacy: how do you share, what do you share, where are your boundaries, what are your needs? Is there reciprocity and flow when it comes to your resources, including time, energy, material resources, and space, as well as money? If not with each person with whom you exchange, then with the universe itself? Aim for a balance of receiving and giving, accepting and releasing.

Pisces

You are in the spotlight, Pisces, with 5 planets and an asteroid all in your sign for the first half of March. Bask in the light, and share it with those you love. Take full advantage of these Piscean vibes to do less, go with the flow, sleep, dream, imagine, bathe. Do you full tilt (or no tilt at all as the case may be). The Full Moon on March 1st brings culmination, fruition, and awareness to your relationships. Where is the balance between self and other? Do you speak to your own needs as well as attending the needs of those you love? Mid-month, the energy begins to shift into your second house, take this time to bolster your self-worth and consider your finances and resources.
