A monthly round up of Resistance Research, including quotes, news, analysis, inspiration, and action items. Let’s break this regime down into actionable items and take it down, bit by bit!

This Month’s Action:

What a month. There continues to be so much happening, both as a direct result of Trump’s existence and an offshoot of the world he creates: taking knees, women’s health, shootings, everyone’s health, and more sexual assault charges gone wild.

No matter where you are in the world, you may want to scream helplessly into the void on November 8th. Chances are, you won’t be alone.

If you are mostly upset about gun control, here are some actions to help reduce the likelihood of getting shot in America.

If you would like to help Black Lives Matter: Tell ESPN: Reinstate Jemele Hill.

This Month’s Reading:

WTF List (Keeping Up With the News):

What the Fuck Just Happened Today: Still the best place for daily updates on the declarations, bills, and other actions made by the Whitehouse.

Trump-Russia Investigation: Robert Mueller Set to Reveal First Charges in Election Hacking Probe: This could be the foundation for impeachment.

All the Laws and Executive Orders Trump Has Signed So Far: A running list to help you keep track.

FBI Watched, then Acted as Russian Spy Moved Closer to Hillary Clinton: Remember the Russia scandal?

Health Officials Just Quietly Defined Life as “Beginning at Conception”: This has HUGE repercussions on reproductive rights.

In the Wake of Trump’s Muslim Ban Efforts, Californians Evoke Intersectionality to Preserve Civil Liberties: New legislation would prevent the federal government from using state data to create Muslim registry.

A Compromise on Obamacare is Still Practically Impossible: There is a lot of work being done to try to repair the Affordable Healthcare Act, and this is a great summary.

Action Inspo and Instructionals:

Let these alternate guides and examples of resistance inspire you!

“A Soulless Coward”: Coach Gregg Popovich Responds to Trump: How good does it feel to see someone (and a white, wealthy man at that!) speak some unfiltered truth?

Congresswoman Takes a Knee on the House Floor to Protest Donald Trump’s NFL Remarks: Maybe send her a note of encouragement?

5 Ways White People Can Fight White Supremacy: A literal handful of tips.

A Running List of Ways You Can Donate to Help Cover Las Vegas Victims’ Medical Bills: As a Canadian, it makes me truly sad that this is even a thing, but it’s a thing, and maybe you can help.

7 Actions You Can Take to Help Prevent Gun Violence: I bet you can guess that it involves phoning some politicians.

Analysis, Opinion, and Enrichment:

These will help you better understand how what’s feeding the madness and expose you to perspectives different from your own (regardless of their direct connection to Trump’s madness).

We Sued for Records About Trump’s Muslim Ban. Here’s What We Found Out: The ACLU got some dirt.

How Collective Narcissism Explains Trump: A societal breakdown.

Should We Fear Article V?: It doesn’t take too much to get constitutional amendments put to a majority vote.

Speaking at a Trump Rally Made This BLM Activist an Outcast: A reminder that we need to speak to each other and be slower to condemn.

On Women’s Health, Trump Is Even Dumber Than We Thought: Does he realize that if all (straight) women practice abstinence, that means (straight) men don’t get to have sex either?
