Where: Finch’s Teahouse (353 West Pender, Gastown)
Hair of the dog: This little teahouse is booze-free. We sipped on an Americano and a heavenly Masala Chai latte.
What we ate: We opted for the House Breakfast ($8), with whole wheat toast, vine tomatoes, fresh dill and two medium-boiled eggs. Add prosciutto or avocado for $2 each (we did).
What we loved: This gorgeous Gastown locale is situated one door away from the famed Jimi Hendrix Shrine (temporarily moved its Union and Main spot), and has an all-too-bohemian charm. Window-side tables dot this corner café, filled and furnished with vintage curios.
Kristi Alexandra is an unabashed wino and wannabe musician. Her talents include drinking an entire bottle of cabernet sauvignon, singing in the bathtub, and falling asleep.
Brittany Tiplady is a part-time poet, and a full-time goat cheese enthusiast. She loves the indoors, fast wifi, collecting maps, and a generous glass of red wine.
