Where in Vancouver can music buffs and storytellers come together under one roof?

Rain City Chronicles, a Vancouver live event series, is hosting the next Record Club evening on Friday, June 16 at the China Cloud (524 Main St.) featuring a dissection of Janet Jackson’s album Control paired with live, emotive, and powerful storytelling.

For those who are new to Record Club, the format of the event is simple: the evening opens with a listening party of featured album, and moves into the live storytelling component, capped off with a musical guest.

Expect heart-wrenching and humour-filled narratives that delve into relationships and rivalries, all tying into the themes and sentiments surrounding Control.
